Abstract

Manuscripts, correspondence, photographs, news clippings and other materials from lesbian writer Cleve Marie Boutell (1918-2011). The bulk of the collection is drafts of fictional works by Cleve Boutell. There is also correspondence with her lesbian sister Hortense "Bo" Boutell (1913-2006), a lieutenant colonel and the first female logistician in the United States Army.
